Adult children living away from elderly parents, and parents of children with special needs, share a common anxiety: they can't monitor daily health, medication adherence, and social engagement remotely. A missed medication, a skipped meal, a decline in activity levels — these things happen and go unnoticed until they become problems.
Existing apps addressed fragments of this. Medication reminder apps. Video calling apps. But nothing connected health tracking, professional care, and family monitoring in a single platform designed specifically for this user group — including a dedicated module for children with autism, who have specific activity and engagement requirements very different from general child wellness tracking.
Care Avatar set out to build the most comprehensive care platform in this category, natively on both iOS and Android for the reliability and platform integration that healthcare-adjacent applications require.
